How it works
What is the process?
Step 1: Fill Out a Prescription Form
Login to your account and fill out a prescription form for the patient you wish to submit a DIBS case for.
Step 2: Provide an Intraoral Scan
We are registered with most intraoral scan companies. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to submit your intraoral scans to OrthoSelect.
Step 3: Lab Work
Once we have received both the prescription form and the intraoral scans for your patient, we can begin lab work on your case. We will digitally clean up your scan, separate the teeth, place brackets on the teeth, and then a digital setup is created showing the end of treatment simulation based on the position of the brackets.
Step 4: Case Approval
Once the lab work has been completed, we will notify you that your case is ready for approval. You will open the case within our DIBS Software, make any final adjustments to the bracket positions, and approve the case. After you click the approve button, we will be notified that the tray was approved and is ready to be 3D printed.
Step 5: 3D Printing
After we have received your case approval, we can move forward and 3D print your bonding trays. We 3D print the DIBS trays at our facility in Utah, place brackets in the trays (if you so desire), and ship the completed DIBS trays back to you.
Step 6: Bonding Appointment
You will be notified when we ship the DIBS trays to your office, and they will arrive at your practice a few days later. The completed trays are placed in your patient’s mouth where the brackets are quickly, easily, and accurately bonded. After you bond the brackets on your patient’s teeth, remove the trays from your patient’s mouth and admire the end product.
