Before you make the jump…
Properly implementing DIBS into your practice will save you time, money, and decrease the hassles of bonding, bracket re-positioning and wire bending. However, there are requirements that must be met first and a software learning curve that you’ll need to get through.
If you’re willing to have a little patience, complete our onboarding process (takes about 3 weeks), and spend the necessary time learning the software, then we know you will be extremely satisfied with DIBS.
What are the requirements?
To be eligible, there are a few requirements that you need to check before proceeding:
Your practice must be located in the United States or Canada.
You need a PC… (or Mac WITH Windows Parallels that you’re comfortable using).
You cannot use Windows 7. You must use Windows 8 or higher (Windows 10 preferred).
You must have at least 4 GB of RAM on your computer (8 GB or higher is recommended).
You must have at least an Intel Pentium i5 processing chip or equivalent (an i7 is preferred).
You need a good graphics card (if your computer has the above specs, your graphics card should be fine).
You must have a good internet connection in your office.
If you plan on approving cases at home, you must also have a good internet connection there too.
An intraoral scanner is required. We do not accept alginate, PVS, or stone models.
Your intraoral scanner must be one of the following scanners:
3M True Def
Carestream CS 3600
If you meet these specifications, great, let’s move forward! On the next pages, you will complete our “Do’s and Don’ts” form, learn about our onboarding process, pay the one-time Startup fee, and finally create an OrthoSelect account.
